    what's CDP (coordinated dial plan) & UDT (uniform dial plan) ?

    please explain easily to me ( let me show a example)

    https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100100144 talks about both cooridnated dial plan and uniform dialing plan and has and some diagrams of typical set up

    CDP uses steering codes, so the number people dial to get a a particular set in the network on another switch is a bit different depending on which switch in the network they are dialling from. UDP uses location codes so the digits dialed to get to a set on another switch in the network can be the same from any switch in the network.

    This info is based on Communication Server 1000 implementation of CDP, and UDP - not sure if that is the product you are talking about, or if other products implement differently.
