vsp-patch-6.3.4.08011.0.noarch.rpm - Shutdown issues

Is anyone else having issues with this patch?

It installs ok but you can not shut down the S8300D card by pressing the Shutdown button on the card. It flashes green for awhile but never goes solid green.

With a ping to cdom and 192.11.13.6 you can see they never shutdown.

I removed the patch and now system platform shows unknown version (version 08007 also showed unknown version when removed.) but the card will shutdown properly using the button. After re-installed the 6.3.4.0.08011 patch the card doesn't shutdown properly.

Any ideas?

do you have this issue, when you shutdown all the virtual machines and then the system platform ?

there seems to a known issue with respect to S8300D shutdown which is still being working, the clean way to shutdown is via CLI

I would suggest you to raise a Service request for the same.
