    Busy Signal on first dial.... then the call goes through

    IPO IP500V2 Control Unit. For my office. When making calls we will often get a busy signal on the first dial. On the second or third dial the call will go through. Any suggestion how to troubleshoot? thanks.

    What type of trunks? If analog, you may have trunk ports that are not connected and need to be set to out of service.

      this is what i'm looking at. so anything listed here that does not correlate to a physical cable needs to be set out of service?

        If you have any analog ports to which an analog trunk isn't actually connected, set the trunk's Admin setting to Out Of Service.
