1692 phone SIP stack??

Anyone know if Avaya/Polycomm is planning to put a SIP stack on the 1692 model phones? It appears it is H.323 only today.

The 1692 does not support SIP firmware today - only H.323. SIP firmware for the 1692 is on the roadmap, but there is no ETA for it.

Help Required

1692 conference phones are getting hanged on regular basis ,what will be probable reason. Currently they are having latest firmware .

The only speakerphone that Avaya sells that supports SIP is the B179.
