This one has us puzzled. We have a site with a G450 w/ 8300. We had a network outage which caused the LSP in this MG to go active. The phones (which are properly configured with their backup server list in the network region) all dropped and registered to the LSP. That portion worked flawlessly.
The problem came in when the network was restored. The MG re-registered back to the main site and the LSP went offline. Problem is none of the 50 or so phones never jumped back to the main CM, they stayed registered to the LSP. I SSH'd into the LSP and did a 'list reg" and could see all the phones still registered to it. Only way to get them off was to do a "reset sys 4". As soon as i did that all the phones immediately registered back to the CM and all was well. We did check and the MG was definitely registered back to CM. All the alarm lights and active lights on the 8300 card in the MG cleared as well.
I thought once the MG was registered back to CM the LSP mode went offline and forced the phones to search for a new registration point. Has anyone seen this issue before?
