Utility Server Patch 6.3.6.0.20 - Issues uploading large files

Has anyone else had issues uploading larger files once they upgraded to this patch (6.3.6.0.20) to the utility server?

Small files for media module firmware work, but anything like a G430/G450 firmware or phone firmware always errors out before finishing.

I have tried on numerous systems and with the patch they all fail uploading larger file using the web interface (Upload gateway firmware).

It worked on 6.3.3.0.20 and before.

    thanks

I'd try installing the latest patch dated Nov 2014: 6.3.7.0.20

Never understood why there are no release notes for Utility patches. This product is poorly documented.

Got the new patch downloaded and will give it a try.

Important: java-1.6.0-openjdk security update, Manage Firmware Page reports Success even though the action fails, IP Phone setting editor shows strange display for some features, [RHSA-2013:0815-01]

      Hopefully this fixes the problem.

Real question is what will they break in this SP.

      Thanks

Larger files still abort before finishing the upload. NOTE: this is using 6.3.7.0.20

        Why am I not surprised.

Try using WinSCP to transfer the file into the /tftpboot directory. This is where firmware lives. Hopefully, the admin login has permission to do this.

ttftpboot directory is owned by root and the admin account does not have WRITE access.

All roads lead to the administrator being screwed because I do not have root access.

Or they could just changed the permissions on the folders/file that the admin account needs acesss to.

            /tftpboot
            /var/www/html/46xxsettings.txt
            /var/www/html/custom

I've asked Avaya for this in the past but didn't get far.

I'm I really the only person who cant upload large files once 6.3.6.0.20 & 6.3.7.0.20 utility server patches are applied?

I did not use 6.3.4 or 6.3.5, but it worked up to 6.3.3.0.20.

Tested in the lab numerous times. with 6.3.6.0.20 or 6.3.7.0.20 it does not work. Remove and its just fine.

                thanks

Looks like Patch 6.3.8.0.20 came out on Feb 9, 2015.

Removed 6.3.7.0.20 and installed 6.3.8.0.20 and the Upload Gateway Firmware feature now works on large files.

                  Fingers crossed for now.
