    Pim

Can anyone tell me how I can get to PIM and how does it work?
Do you need licenses? Can you download this software? It seems you could use this to install SLS on gateways, but I can't find it anywhere

    Pim

PIM stands for "Provisioning and Installation Manager". Avaya PIM for Branch Gateways provides the capability to remotely configure Avaya media gateways on a network-wide basis. It provides integrated network system views that ease centralized configuration tasks, especially provisioning and installing large numbers of gateways simultaneously. PIM may be used to configure G450, G430, G350, and G250 media gateways with Standard Local Survivability (SLS) updates that include parameters such as automatic route selection (ARS) rules and dial plans.

PIM is part of "Avaya Integrated Management Release 6.0 - Network Management Release 6.0 offer" . Below overview document may give additional details

In the absence of the PIM

In the absence of the PIM, the data set can be configured manually from individual Branch Gateways using CLI commands. For instructions on configuring SLS, see SLS configuration rules on page 116.
