Coverage Path and Forwarding

Im running CM 6.03.0.124.

I having some coverage path issues when a user utilizes the forwarding feature access code.

Station 100 has a coverage path that sends all outside calls to Point 1 -Station 101 Point 2 – VM. When the user at Station 101 is out of the office for an extended amount of time they use a feature access code (*22) to forward their calls to another station (this station varies as it depends who is available). After forwarding station 101 when an outside call comes to Station 100 it goes directly to voicemail.

Is it possible to get Station 100 to follow the forwarding of Station 101 or is there a better way of doing this than using a coverage path.

you could use a vector A. the destination of that vector can be changed by another vector B writing a system variable. Vector A uses this varable as destination.
In parallel you could hardly route to station 101 via the vector and use the value "with cov" set to "y".

As far as I know what you are observing with the coverage path is normal behavior. The call is routed according to the rules set in the coverage path of the station that should first receive the call. For security/confidentiality reason it makes sense to me although it is kind of "annoying" sometimes.

One Thing to Keep in Mind

And that is that you cannot go to cover with a call that is the result of a cover path. Frustrating but true.
