I have a station that monitors 25+ gates. Each gate is setup to dial a specific DID off of our main trunk. These gates are spread out with analog 1fb lines. Up until now, we’ve just set a unique did for each gate to dial. We’ve assigned a button on the station phone (an IP4621 phone and side car) as a call appearance. When someone pushes the button on the intercom unit at the gate, id dials that unique DID and a specific button lights up on the handset. This has worked fine but now we are adding 30+ more gates/intercom units.
Can I get some ideas on a better solution? I just need to know the gate/intercom location when it dials in. We have a S8700. Desktop software options?
