    One-X Portal Avaya Phone Interface

    I'm trying to install the Avaya Phone Interface software remotely for users who do not have admin rights on their machines. I have downloaded the AvayaPhoneInterface.cab file. How do I get it to install?
    I installed it on my machine when prompted the first time I logged in and I see it listed in Downloaded Program Files. When I click the 2 files and click Extract it won't extract to that destinaion. I can extract to my desktop but it just looks like a copy of the file.

    Is this for the One-X portal application?

      It's an Active X control that portal asks you to install the first time you login to Client.
      It gives you the This Computer option in your choices for Send and Receive calls using.

        it will automatically get installed when you run One-X Portal user Login via Browser on their Machine.

          The probelm is we have user who do not have admin rights to their machines and cannot install it. I'm looking for a way to install it remotely.

            For future users, I found the solution.
            Download the file AvayaPhoneInterface.cab from the server.
            Open and extract the two files to c:\Windows\System32.
            Do Start/Run/CMD, regsvr32 avayaphoneinterface.ocx

            Done.
