    VM to Email

    Have a customer with embedded vm using go daddy as there email server. Authentication is checked with the name and password. The service periodically stops and the customer has the reboot the Ip office for it to start again.

    Would this be a problem with the ip office or the email server? ver 9.1.4

    Stop using godaddy and use the SMTP relay from the local ISP. This should fix the problem. Keep in mind you will probably have to change the SMTP port as well. A lot of ISP are changing fro the default port of 25.

      AND... you do not need an account with them as well, they will allow the relay since they see it coming from their IP

        So the ISP not go daddy can provide a SMTP relay address if I ask for it?
