    MIB files for G450

    I am looking for the proprietary MIB files for a G450 running 7.0

    Poking around, the most recent MIB files I see date from 6.3.7:
    ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9...etary_MIBs.zip

    I have installed these:

    guru:/opt/local/share/snmp/mibs/Avaya$ ls
    APPLIC-MIB
    AV-AURA-SERVICEABILITY-AGENT-MIB
    AV-AURA-SESSION-MANAGER-ELEMMGR-MIB
    AV-AURA-SESSION-MANAGER-MIB
    AV-AURA-SESSION-MANAGER-SECMOD-MIB
    AV-AURA-SESSION-MANAGER-SIPAS-MIB
    AV-AURA-SESSION-MANAGER-THIRDPARTY-MIB
    AV-AURA-SYSTEM-MANAGER-MIB
    Avaya-46xxIPTelephone-MIB
    Avaya-96xxIPTelephone-MIB
    AVAYA-APPL-MEM-MANAGER
    Avaya_Deskphone_SIP_v2.4
    AVAYA-ENTITY-MIB
    AVAYAGEN-MIB
    AVAYA-IPSEC-MIB
    AVAYA-LOAD-MIB
    AVAYA-RTP-MIB
    AVAYA-SAA-TRACK-MIB
    AVAYA-SURV-MIB
    AVEISPROD-MIB
    AV-VOICE-PORTAL-MIB
    CHAWK-MIB.MY
    CIG-CLIENTS-MIB
    CIG-SERVERS-MIB
    CONFIG-MIB
    CROUTE-MIB
    G700-MG-MIB
    GEN-MIB
    LOAD-MIB
    MADGESTACK-MIB
    POLICY-MIB
    POWER-ETHERNET-OLD-MIB
    SECURITY-MANAGEMENT-MIB
    UTILIZATION-MANAGEMENT-MIB
    WAN-MIB
    XSWITCH-MIB
    guru:/opt/local/share/snmp/mibs/Avaya$

    but a walk of my g450 still showed something lacking:

    AV-AURA-SERVICEABILITY-AGENT-MIB::mibs.73.8.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "Linux 2.6.32-504.8.1.el6.AV3.x86_64 x86_64 x86_64"
    AV-AURA-SERVICEABILITY-AGENT-MIB::mibs.73.8.1.1.2.0 = STRING: "Apr 1 10:18 2015"
    AV-AURA-SERVICEABILITY-AGENT-MIB::mibs.73.8.1.1.3.0 = STRING: "00.0.441.0"
    AV-AURA-SERVICEABILITY-AGENT-MIB::mibs.73.8.1.1.4.0 = STRING: "R017x.00.0.441.0"
    AV-AURA-SERVICEABILITY-AGENT-MIB::mibs.73.8.1.1.5.0 = STRING: "vcm-017-00.0.441.0"
    [...]

    I searched for "mibs 73" and came across AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB from some random site; installing that has helped quite a bit.

    AVAYA-LOAD-MIB::avGenLoadNumberOfSession.0 = INTEGER: 4
    AVAYA-LOAD-MIB::avGenLoadConnectionState.0 = INTEGER: down(3)
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCmVersionOperSystem.0 = STRING: Linux 2.6.32-504.8.1.el6.AV3.x86_64 x86_64 x86_64
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCmVersionBuildDate.0 = STRING: Apr 1 10:18 2015
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCmVersionLoadNumber.0 = STRING: 00.0.441.0
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCmVersionRlsNumber.0 = STRING: R017x.00.0.441.0
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCmVersionRlsString.0 = STRING: vcm-017-00.0.441.0
    [...]

    However, I can see that I'm still missing at least one more MIB file
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.2.1.0 = INTEGER: 1
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.2.2.0 = INTEGER: 2
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.2.3.0 = INTEGER: 2
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.2.4.0 = INTEGER: 2
    [...]
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "AC-POWER"
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.1 = STRING: "ADJ-IP"
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.2 = STRING: "ADM-CONN"
    AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.3 = STRING: "ADX16A-B"
    [...]
    Looks like this one is hardware-specific.

    I've tried googling for a G450-MG-MIB ... no hits. I tried ftp'ing to ftp.avaya.com ... but 'ls' doesn't return anything at all.

    ==> Where do I go to download a set of MIB files supporting the G450? And Release 7.0?
    ==> Even better, where would I find a bundle of *all* Avaya MIB files?

    Don't think a 7.0 MIB has been released for the G4x0 gateways. The 6.3.x. MIB you have should still apply.

      I have installed BG6.3.7_G430_G450_Proprietary_MIBs.zip ... but this does not include the MIB file which covers avJCommMgrMibs.9

      e.g. from a walk on my G450, about a thousand lines look like this:

      [...]
      AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "AC-POWER"
      AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.1 = STRING: "ADJ-IP"
      AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.2 = STRING: "ADM-CONN"
      AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.3 = STRING: "ADX16A-B"
      AVAYA-AURA-CM-MIB::avCommMgrMibs.9.1.4.1.1.1.4 = STRING: "ADX16A-P"
      [...]

      How might I figure out which MIB file I'm missing?

      I have walked through this directory:
      ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/tsoweb/MIB/
      and I haven't found anything suitable.

      ?

        Can you let me know where the MIB files need to be installed/uploaded for the G430? Does it go directly on the Media-Gateway or the Main-CM. And also the procedure for it will be very helpful

        Thanks!

          They're intended to be installed on your SNMP receiver if CM and media gateways are configured to forward alarm traps to a customer NMS.
