IP Office Server edition with DECT R4 at multiple locations.

    Hi Team,
Can you please share some information on the below mention query.
    Thank you in advance.

We are putting together a Server edition solution with Primary and Secondary servers and five 500v2 expansion servers.

At the 500v2 expansion servers, we are installing DECT R4 base stations.

In order for the DECT R4 base stations to continue working should the link between the expansion and the rest of the solution be lost, do we require a separate master base station and SARI at each location? Or do we have one master/air sync master and sari and then configure each location as a slave with air sync master? Essentially we need the DECT to continue working for the local 500v2 site if connection to the rest of the solution is lost.

If they cannot be separate master at each location, does this mean that if we are using a few Compact base stations that we are restricted to the five compact in the solution?

The key information we would need to know to give useful answers would be the physical distances between the expansion systems and all the base stations.

If all the systems are in range of each other to have air-sync and a single master base station, then another IP Office can take control of the IP Office/DECT link when the IP Office normally performing that role is not available for some reason. How to configure that is covered in the IP Office DECT R4 installation manual.

If the physical distance doesn't allow continuous air-sync, the manual does say that is is possible to still use a single master base station and all the other features including resilience as above. However, I've never set that up so don't know how easy it is configure.
