CM 6.3 SNMP V3 Agents and Traps

I have been given a task to set up SNMP Agents and SNMP Traps using V3, SHA, AES 128 parameters. Also I have been advised to use a single username for both however CM 6.3 will not let me use the same user name for both the Agent and Trap. V1 and V2c work just fine, but the moment I go in to V3, I cannot use the same user name for both Agent and Trap. Any suggestions? Our end device is Solarwinds.
