    Denail Event: 542: can not connect ideal Agent

    We have CM 5.2.1 with SP8, where we are facing some challenging issues. The call are getting queued in the system, but some time, what happens, its remain in the queue and not hitting to any agents. We have to then apply the Rest Sys-4 to make it again working the system

    I have searched so many post, but did not find the proper resolutions. I have seen , no PN blockage, No Annoucement Traffic, no Changes done in the system, still we are facing the issues once in every months.

    Any suggestions to overcome this issues!!

    First of all sorry for a very delayed response. It sounds like a corruption as per your statement, however we will need to run some live MST traces to identify.

    Next time when you run into the same issue, you can quickly create a new hunt group and make it a skill, then create a new agent and assign the new hunt group to the agent, have the agent login, and make test calls. If the agent is not able to login, or the agent is logged in, but calls to the hunt group is not delivered to the agent, then most likely it's an corruption.

    You are more than welcome to open a case with Avaya product support so that we can look into this issue in more details.
