S8300E AVP 7.1.2 - Problem installing BSM

Hardware = S8300E

Using SDM - Avaya_SDMClient_win64_7.1.2.0.0528621_26.exe

Generated file for thumbdrive and

Installed AVP 7.1.2 - avaya-avp-7.1.2.0.0.09.iso

Installed Utility Server 7.1.1 - US-7.1.0.0.0.18-e55-379_OVF10.ova also installed patch 7.1.2 = util_patch_7.1.2.0.0.07_2.zip

Installed CM Simplex for Survivable Remote - CM-Simplex-07.1.0.0.532-e65-0.ova
and patches 7.1.2 = 01.0.532.0-24184.tar, KERNEL-3.10.0-693.el7.AV1.tar and PLAT-rhel7.2-0010.tar

No issues with anything above or building System, Session, and AES server.


Problem is trying to install the Branch System Manager.

In PLDS I can only find this file - BSM-7.1.1.0.711008-kvm-01.ova

It gives the following error in SDM when you load and parse the file

Error = Invalid file content, Parsing error, No certificate data found.


Does anyone know where to find the correct file so I can install the BSM on a S8300D/E card?

You're using the KVM (kernel virtual machine) version which will not work on AVP. Use this version: https://plds.avaya.com/poeticWeb/esd...374817C1A37253

Filename: BSM-7.1.0.0.710028-e65-01.ova

Install the 7.1.2 ISO after deployment.

Was pretty sure I had the wrong file but in plds that was the 'only' bsm file listed under Session Manager 7.0 or 7.1.

Got the file downloaded and installed with no issues.
