Communication issue between two branches in IP Office manager

    Dear All,

Please be informed that we are having server edition system with three expansions as below:

    - Site A is the main branch for us where the primary server is installed plus the Control unit
    - Site B is the second branch where we did the change below. Control unit installed
    - Site C is the third branch and Control unit is installed.

There was a requirement from management to create new extensions for site B. The branch is using the subnet 192.168.42.0/24 for voice and the number of new users is 260 plus the existing users 70 users. So the total of new users will be more than 255.

We decided to increase the subnet mask of this branch to be 192.168.40.0/22 ( 192.168.40.1-192.168.43.254) so it can handle the new users.

we have modify the subnet mask in the ip phones accordingly from 255.255.255.0 To 255.255.252.0

    Now the issue is

    - Site A able to call Site B and C with no issue
    - Site B able to call Site A with no issue, but when calling Site C the telephone is ringing there but when the user will pick the phone, user in Site B will not be able to hear user in Site C,however user from Site C will be able to hear him. ( strange )

-Site C able to call Site A and Site B with no issue and every one can hear the other.

So the issue i can see is while calling from Site B to Site C only (one way problem), If the users will initial the call from Site C to Site B there will be no issue.

Can any one help what can be the problem.

Please let me know if any more information is required.

Our system is ip office manager server edition version 10.0.0.0

    Pleeeeeeeeeese advise.

    Best Regards.

Uncheck "Allow Direct Media Path" on all IP Office lines and all H.323 phones.

        Use Manager

Line > IP Office Line > VoIP Settings tab > Checkbox for "Allow Direct Media Path" - UNcheck it

Extension > VoIP tab > Checkbox for "Allow Direct Media Path" - UNcheck it
