If I understand correctly , you want to test outgoing fax .
Here is steps how to test outgoing fax. If the user is using a print-enabled application such as Microsoft Word and they have the MM Fax print driver installed, they can print the document straight to the native fax feature within Modular messaging using FAX SENDER SERVICE.
If they don’t have a print driver then the document would need to be converted to tiff format and then attached to an email and sent to the fax mailbox. Emails, in plain text format, can also be sent to the MM fax mailbox and they will automatically be converted to a tiff and sent by the Fax Sender. After you do it , you can go to MM Fax Service Manager to check the status of your testing fax.

For testing i used MS Word document, fax print driver installed. I see in the window MAS-Port Monitor that the line is engaged and immediately released with the result of "no answer". On the side of the ACM (list trace tac ...) there is no movement.
