I am trying to configure incoming fax to be transferred to email of the user, system details are mentioned below:
CM 6.0.1 with SP 8.01
SM/SMGR 6.1
AAM 6.1 SP 2 Patch 5 (1x app server, 1xstorage server)
one DID number is configured as fax extension and connected to an analog fax machine..this is working fine
now in AAM i have configured
> fax to be transferred to email in COS.
> fax to be transferred to email in system parameters (storage server and application server)
> email address assigned in user preference page.
> created a mailbox for fax extensions.
In CM:
> I have created on coverage path that will transfer the call to Messaging hunt group after 2 rings
> Assigned the coverage path to the extension
i tried sending some test faxes, when i dial the number, it rings twice and then announcement is played "IT fax is not available" after that fax tone starts and the sending fax machine shows that fax is sent successfully. BUt the test fax is never received anywherer, neither on email nor on fax machine
SMTP is configured, i tried mail delivery diagnostics through the mailbox and test mai was delivered....my mail server is added in the external host....but fax is not being sent to mail addresss i configure in the user preference, in list trace i get "denial event 1219: ISDN msg not compat state D1=0x830002 D2=0x265" and traceSM does show any error
please help, i havent worked on MM or AAM before
