    Policy-Restrict Forwarding .wav File Off-Net

Does anyone have a written policy that addresses restricting forwarding a voicemail .wav file off-net? We have the restriction in place; however, we still want a policy addressing this as the OTC can be forwarded at this time.

    Privacy Enforcement Level parameter

If the value of the PEL system parameter is set to Full, the Modular Messaging system enforces privacy to the fullest extent possible. This setting is configurable in the Voice mail system configuration & implementing this requires a MAS service stop & start. Hence it is service impacting.

When the PEL parameter is set to Full, these interfaces and clients also enforce privacy to the maximum extent possible; subscribers cannot forward private messages or reply to private messages with the original message attached. In addition, with this setting, the system prevents subscribers from sending private messages to arbitrary e-mail addresses. Note: For more, please download the "concept & planning" guide of Modular Messaging from the Avaya support web site.

Thanks, but you are referring to marking a message private and most of our calls are from outside the Firm so that is not done. Furthermore, I am only looking to see if anyone has a policy addressing this matter, not how the technical aspects work.

You can prevent forwarding of a voicemail, the only way we have of doing this is the ROC client (Restricted outlook thick client).
