    Modular Messaging Numeric Address

    I have a situation that a tech removed a user account without permanently disabling the modular messaging account first.
    So now when I try to reassign the extension the numeric address line says it needs to be unique.

    What do I need to do to clear that from the modular messaging that it is attached to another user?

    Description (Problem Clarification)

    Unable to create a mailbox in Message Storage Server (MSS). Throwing an error while adding a mailbox.
    Cause:-

    The mailbox numbers trying to be added are being used as a numeric address for a remote user within a voicemail network by Message Networking. Problem Fix/Workaround/Solution
    Fix:-
    Numeric address has to be unique within the Modular Messaging system as well as the Message Networking system if the systems are networked.
    Resolution Plan:-

    Select a new numeric address for the new voice mail subscriber or contact avaya support engi.

        Worked with avaya partner and found out that the database has lost connection to the domain at one time. They helped in rebuilding the front end database on the modular messaging box.
