MM Upgrade

Had this come across my desk.
A customer wants to upgrade their MM3.1 S3500's to MM5.2.
But instead of using 2 S8800's for the new equipment, they want to keep their MAS S3500 and just software upgrade it to MM5.2 and then replace the MSS S3500 with a S8800. So in the end they have a MAS S3500 R5.2 paired with a MSS S8800 R5.2.

I believe this will not work. Anyone heard of this before???

Hi,

This is not a supported configuration. MAS and MSS should be on a same hardware.
