    MM Ootlook Client not refreshing in Office 2010

    We just started to deploy windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I was asked to install MM OTC on a new executive's laptop. MM OTC isn't working properly. When a message is received in MM it doesn't show in the MM OTC unless you do a send/receive or close and open outlook. I checked the settings the, I cannot change the settings in the General tab - they are set at 2 minutes and the check box "Schedule an automatic send/receive every:" is unchecked and greyed out. But so isn't mine and mine works but I'm using XP and Outlook 2003. My director has W7 and O 2010 on the same hardware and his is working I didn't even look at his settings. However another user has the same set-up and it is also not refreshing.

    Hi,

    Avaya support would need logs from client PC and PC access to check the issue. Also what is the MM version here. OTC version would be dependent on MM version.

    This issue needs further investigation with the help of logs.

      The Global settings for Outlook 2010 are set to 30 minutes by default. I sytumbled across this myself. Go to:

      Send/Receive Tab>Send/Receive Groups>Define Send/Receive Groups

      Then change the number of minutes under "Schedule an automatic send/receive every" setting. This works for us.
