MM install on higher DL360 server

Hi People,

Please dun kick me if my question is wishful thinking.

My customer wish to install their existing MM 5.2 onto new DL360G9 server. The installation disk is only up to G7. Just thinking if there is a workaround.

Anyone tried in doing this? I know the right way is to upgrade to AAM but customer has their own reasons.

The installation guide regularly lists the minimum requirements. Going from a Generation 7 to a 9 will make the MM work smoother.

Unfortunately the Avaya installation package (OS+MM) only have for DL360G7 hardware. We tried a number of ways but the G9 just do not read the disk. We also tried to pre-install the Win2003Server Std, again the G9 do not allowed. This is also as checked against HP doc. I was just thinking if anyone had this same situation and succeeded in doing so. In Singapore, G9 is the current availability. Thanks Bro.
