Aura Messaging Fax Utility

I am currently testing the fax utility on our Aura Messaging system and it seems to be working well except for one issue. To be able to send and receive faxes through Aura Messaging, I found I have to change the ip-codec-set from "pass-through" to "t.38-standard" in the PBX, which causes regular faxing to stop working. Is there a way to setup one ip-codec-set for faxing over the AM and one for regular faxing? Right now it appears we only have one ip-codec-set programmed and I have to admit aside from changing the fax settings, I'm not really clear what the ip-codec-set does.

I had the same issue. To resolve I put the aam app server IP in a new network region (using ip network map) and specified a different codec set for that region which included t.38. You also use the new codec set for inter region connectivity to the existing region which presumably has your pstn trunks in it.
