One X Mobile Symbian with Nokia E72 new firmware
Anyone able to use One X Mobile symbian (telephony) version 4.7.5 with E72 firmware 031.023 ? The application install goes okay but it simply disconnects when I try to use any feature. For example when I try to activate / deactivate EC500, the One X client dials correct number but disconnects even before PBX answers the call. If I call the same number from phone without using One X client, it goes thru correctly. Seems there's some timer that kicks in and disconnects the calls.

I'm having exact the same issue with an E71 and via a support ticket Avaya states that it is a device (and thus Nokia) issue! So no work around or fix is available for this with my E71. I hoped this would be not an issue with other devices ... but it seems this is not the only case?? Please keep me posted!Comment

I have now confirmed this problem is definately with the OneX for symbian client on firmware V31 and not with my SIM or service provider. My SIM works in another E72 with V21 firmware while the SIM from that phone doesn't work in My phone which is on V31 firmware. Have tried using another SIM for Airtel from a colleague's phone and that too gives same issue.
Nokia guys confirmed there's no way to downgrade my firmware to V21. Guess I have to wait till next release or switch the phone.Comment
