Configure integration with Avaya Communication Manager for Avaya One-X mobile
Configure integration with Communication Manager:
1.Validate licensed features
a. Validate that the following licensed features and capacities exist:
●Maximum Administered SIP Trunks
●Platform Maximum Ports
●Enhanced EC500 = y
●Maximum Off-PBX Telephones - EC500
●Maximum Off-PBX Telephones - PBFMC
Contact your Avaya Partner if you do not have the proper features licensed.
2. Configure SIP trunk between one-X mobile server and Communication Manager.
3. Configure Off-PBX EC500 settings:
For all the one-X Mobile users, ensure that the EC500 application is not administered in the off-pbx-telephone-station-mapping form, as this feature is redundant and can be incompatible with the one-X application that one-X Mobile leverages. Remove the EC500 entry if the user already has an EC500 application assignment.

That's Right Bulls' Eye . The One-X mobile 5.2 leverages the SIP UBiquity Element Manager co-residing on the 1XM server. everytime you license a user on the One-X mobile Admin page, the user details are pushed to off-pbx-telephone station-mapping table on the CM.
In the 1.1 the user had to be manually provisioned on this table with Application EC500 or PBFMC etc and ARS (except for the mobile or off-pbx number)
However in 5.2 the Application now used is ONE-X and this is done automatically by the 1XM and no manual provisioning or intervention is required. Also in 1.1 the trunk seletion had to left as ARS. in 5.2 you will see the user provisioned with trunk selection --> showing the trunk no of the SIP trunk to the 1XM.
Note: Make Sure the CM is 5.2.1 for all this to work.
I am new for AVAYA ,Now I would like to test One X Mobbile UC bas on Nokia E61i symbian s60 , How can I getting start and get the setup file and configuration.
we have it installed and working. iphone and blackberry users.
much easier to install than 1.1
Is there a Droid app yet? I can EC500 to my phone or Extend the call to my cell but I would like to use my cell to make an Extension call. While out of the office. I suppose the remote access would work unless there are better ways of merging the cell phone with my extension.
I have installed One-X Mobile 5.2 SP3 according to the provided Avaya documentation. I have CM5.2.1 with a SIP trunk to the 1XM box. Status of trunk is in-servie/idle. The mobile application for the iPhone displays directory information, plays/displays voice mails, but will not complete any calls to the PBX. I do not see any errors in the SIPCChandler or any of the Audit logs. I do see "serial number not entered" even though the server is liscensed according to documentation provided by Avaya.
Is there a Ubiquity element that I am missing?
Figured that my Firewall wasn't allowing the SIP call from PBX to One-X Server. Fixed that with a firewall rule and all things work well. Except the corporate directory. Has any on made the corporate directory talk to a Novell Edir with the Provision directory talking with AD?
when I do list off-pbx-telephone station-mapping I get the following
STATION TO OFF-PBX TELEPHONE MAPPING
Station Appl CC Phone Number Config Trunk Mapping Calls
Extension Set Select Mode Allowed
5025 OPS 5025 1 / 5 both all
5025 ONE-X 005025 / 4 origination all
For some reason the bottom ONE-X has 005025 as the phone number and I can't see how to change that, any ideas? The extn should be 5025

The entry for 005025 is automatically created when you provision a user in 1XM. You cant do anything via PBX programming to modify/delete this entry. To remove it, you must unlicense the user in 1XM. BTW - the syntax of 005025 is normal behaviour.
display off-pbx-telephone station-mapping 78920 Page 1 of 3
STATIONS WITH OFF-PBX TELEPHONE INTEGRATION
Station Application Dial CC Phone Number Trunk Config Dual
Extension Prefix Selection Set Mode
78920 ONE-X - 011919867521249 ars DMX
78920 ONE-X - 0078920 98
You should two Entries Per station. Internaly it will use either EC500 or PBFMC license.
You just have to license the user in the 1XM and the entries will get created by the 1XM by sending SIP encoded messages..
Do let me know incase you have any other questions
I have One X Mobile 5.2 up and running one of my offices. I need to know if I can add more locations this server? I have 2 more CM 5.2 system each with their own Modular Messageing (MSS) set up. Trying to avoid buying and installing 3 separate One X system for each office. Avaya sais you can do it but I cannot find any documentaion to support that. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

You can add all the MM servers using the Voicemail configuration under Avaya Setup on the admin Page.
Similarly you can add multiple CM's under the CM configuration.
Once Done, you need to create different Class of Service Profiles under Avaya Setup on Admin Screen. In each COS from the Dropdown select the MM and the CM for that site.
When you are importing users, you will have to assign them their specific COS (which holds their CM and MM info)
