    One-X Mobile Client for Android??

Can someone from Avaya please provide an ETA on an Android client? We installed 4 1XM servers recently to support 6k users but with no Android client more than a third of them will have no client.

Android App that works with Communication Manager

    Jeff,
I regret that I don't have an official ETA but I have heard that there is active work on an official Android App from Avaya. In the meantime, I wonder if this app that leverages CM features such as EC500, Send Calls, Idle Appearance Select, Active Appearance Select, and more would help your Android users until the official application becomes available? This app from CALECO Ventures does not require the 1xM Server though. It leverages CM FNEs.

You can point your Android QR Code Reader at this QR Code to see the apps in the Android Market.

    Best wishes,
    Neil

      Thank you for the reply

      Neil,

Thank you for the reply, I am aware of the overlay for FNE's, ran across the droid app you mention in my quest for the 1xm droid app but not what we are looking for.

I hope it's soon to come. I know there's a One-X Android app coming, but I can't remember if it's a SIP based Client or meant for One-X Mobile
