    Sending DTMF on PRI with 11.1.1

    We are having issues sending DTMF settings from our PRI and it seems to only been happening since upgrade to the latest feature pack. If we use a digital phone DTMF works but not on SIP phones.

    Anyone having this issue also

    Just a heads up DTMF over sip phones to PRI on the newest release is broken. I downgraded my system here at the office and now DTMF settings work as expected.

      Pull Down the Feature Pack!!!

      I can't believe Avaya is leaving this up!! We lost our DTMF tones as well, we are horrified at the prospect of having to downgrade the server edition VM.

        Our problem happens over PRI, SCN, or direct media path, all of the above will not send DTMF tones.

        AVAYA HELP !!

        9608, 9608G (H.323), B179 conference (SIP) are all affected! Our 9608's are not on the SIP firmware.

          Same problem here. After update R11.1.1.0.0.207 DTMF doesn't work. We need to Escalate to AVAYA. I opened 3 SR's. Anyone else also raised a SR?

            Yes, they have locked mine though and now I have no way to revert, as they've pulled down the previous version downloads that we were on.

            Please keep posting everyone that is experiencing this issue, we need a FIX or workaround ASAP! This is really painful...

                Yes, they locked my SR though so I cannot update it anymore.

                    More Details

                    So Feature Pack 1 breaks DTMF over PRI's. We're in the painful process of getting everything rolled back. No workarounds available. Server edition is having a hard time with the rollback too. Things are wonky, hopefully we can get it put back together... so ridiculous.

                      Did Avaya confirm this?
                      I've seen that the R11.1.1.0.0.207 has been removed from the Avaya support website.....

                        I am having DTMF issues with SIP phones (J169 and Workplace moblie/desktop) on Spectrum SIP trunks as well.

                          Since 16 march the R11.1. SP1 (209) has returned on the Avaya Support website. I can confirm that the DTMF issues are solved. We tested is with internal calls (SIP & h323) and on SIP trunks external calls) Information on the DTMF issues are described in the Technical Bulletin General Availability release 003
