    IPO R11 Upgrade

    Hi,
    Due to pandemic it is very hard to travel on remote site.
    How to replace the old system sd card with recreate system sd card on R11 load with new plds licenses on other box ?

    Confirm all hardware is compatible with R11, get migration licenses and any new licenses from Avaya

    Use Manager to format and recreate the SD card on the release you want to go to.

    Get the license .xml file from PLDS and rename it to PLDSkey.xml

    Pull the current config from the running IP Office, and name the file config.cfg

    Put PLDSkeys.xml and config.cfg files on the SD card in the Primary folder.

    Make sure the current IPO is on at least 8.1(73) - if lower you need to upgrade to 8.1(73) or any 9.0 before upgrading to R11

    Pull power to IPO. Swap cards. Power up. Wait for longer than normal boot up process as the system is upgrading itself.
