IP office combo cards- not backwards compatible?

We have a Partner Version customer with a 6.1 software that is working great. They are growing so we took a new combo card and it did not work. We were told the new cards wont work on older software. Not backward compatible? Why? Is this just for Partner Version or for IP Office software also since they use the same hardware? thanks

You need to upgrade to 6.1.22
Then the card will work fine.
Do not forget that the max is 2 combocards!!!
