At the end of the month they are supposed to come out with a maintenance release to support these phones along but until then check the obvious, network settings power etc.

I am having the same issue. I have two of these in the organization. The first one we bought about 4 months ago, had no issue and deployed to a location and it is configured for VPN use.

The second one is for the office, but everytime I type any extension (even an invalid one) and the password the phone freezes for about 2 minutes then reboots. It then tries to connect again using the same credentials and does another freeze and reboot..

I am running IP Office 500 v8.0(43). Monitor only shows the following lines:
      2944847234mS H323Evt: e_H225_AliasAddress_dialedDigits alias
      2944847235mS H323Evt: found number <1112>
      2944847235mS H323Evt: GRQ --- Auto-create extn for 1112

I'm going crazy. Anyone have any suggestions?

        9608 VPN phone having problems.

Please note that the 9608,9611G,9621G and the 9641G are not yet supported as VPN phones on the IP Office. You have to wait until the 6.3 H323 bin files are released next year. Until then you can still use the 9620/30/40/ or 50 as VPN phones on the IP Office.

I've seen this happen when someone forgets to enable H.323 Gatekeeper on the LAN interface.
