    Trunk Group X OOS/FE-idle

    Hello Everyone,

    We are having a problem with a trunk group on a G-450 Media Gateway. The trunk group members are in the status OOS/FE-idle.

    I have ran a test on the coresponding Sig-Group which fails at Test No. 647 with an Error 1 and passes at test No. 636. According to avaya the problem is on the provider side.

    The provider has checked the Primarys and sees no problem. DS1 Board has been changed without success. Is there anything else which can be tried before we swap the gateway?

    Service provider changed the NT and cable: issue solved

    We had this today in Germany. The ISDN PRI briefly came in service, allowed one call, then it stayed for a while in OOS/FE-idle, then in out-of-service-NE. The PSTN service provider came in and replaced the Network Termination and cable, then it worked. The technician of the PSTN service provider needed about 2 hours for the process, which included programming the Network Termination remotely.
