I have recently installed a UC module into an IP500v2 V8.0.44. At first it seemed OK but then all of a sudden the VMPro service would stop and restart. It continues to do it now every 15 minutes or so unless I give the UC Module a reboot - then it takes around 50 minutes for the problem to return.
The error in the Log is: "vmpro problem detected: restarting"
The UC module was on the version it came with (8.0.something), its now been upgraded to the latest available which is 8.1.80-9_el6
I have done multiple full system reboots and changed the card slot of the UC module. As a last resort I bought the one from our demo unit to site and installed that, I re installed the VMPro backup and it appeared to work for an hour and then the problem returns. Possibly a compatibility issue with 8.0.44 of IPO firmware?
Has anyone seen this before and/or has any suggestions?
