    Softphone video conferencing function

    Hi all!

I have couple IP Office v1\v2 with R7\R6 software, and i want to use Softphone video conferencing functions on them. I read few manuals for softphone, and they contradict each other. For example, in IP Office Knowledgebase for R7, videoconferencing is mention in user manual, but in user manual coming with manager for R7 it doe's not. I don't have trial license, and i can't get them at this moment, so i can't test it myself. Can anyone help me, and answer, does videoconferencing working on R7/R6 firmware?

And one more thing, i can't find anything about video conference call between IP Office sites if they connected through SCN. is it possible ?

    Sorry for my english.

    Softphone video conferencing function

Video Conferencing is a feature of the Avaya Video Softphone and not the IP Office. The Avaya Video Softphone was introduced in R6.0. It may or may not have had the conferencing feature then but it was not supported until R7.0. Video support on the Avaya Video Softphone including conferencing is peer to peer and it does not matter if they are located at the same site or across the SCN as long as they have enough bandwidth and the computer meets the required specifications. The sites would have to be on R7.0 or above and all on the same version of software to be officially supported.
