Do the 9641G phones support the SBM24 modules? I know the 9640 does but that is a considerably older phone with lesser features.

If the 9641g doesn't support it is there a newer one that does?

I can not answer for the Aura/CM but for the IP Office the SBM24 is only supported on the following phones:

SMB24

The maximum number of button module buttons supported, of any type, on a single system is 1024.
This button module is supported with 9630G, 9640, 9640g, 9650 and 9650C telephones. Up to 3 SMB24 modules can be attached to any one phone. For additional limitations see Phone Add-Ons.

•The Class requirement of PoE powered phones may be increased if the phone is used with additional equipment such as a button module.

The proper button module for the 9641G is the BM12:

BM12: +24(Max 3 per phone, 32 per system.)
Add-on for 9508, 9608, 9611 and 9641 phones. Provides 12 buttons assignable in 2 pages for 24 features. When used with a 9508, power must be supplied to the phone using an inline power module such as the 1151C or equivalent.

I thought it is possible to use a BCM24 with a 9641g in the Avaya CCM Enterprise?
