Hi,
I have recently switched our network so that the phones are now running on a separate VLAN. The phones themselves can use the VLAN and connect properly when set manually, but after rebooting the system, they seem to struggle to connect to the IP Office when using DHCP.
The phones just sit at Finding router..... or the 96xx series we have a couple of sit at discover... I don't understand why.
The phones get the initial VLAN info from a windows DHCP server, this switches them to the voice vlan for DHCP from the IP office itself. They appear to get the dhcp from it, but can't register to it. After a period of time (I left them overnight), they had all registered, but not sure why it is taking them so long to do so.
Any ideas?
