Creating SC for passing LD code

I have a DID that forwards to a user. That user is forwarded to a long distance outside number. If you dial long distance from a phone within our building you must enter a code after a beep. The code is required by the carrier (CenturyLink)

I would like to setup a SC that automatically adds this code. I thought I could do it this way.

forwarded number: 619991112222

SC: 61N
Number; 1N,,,9988
Dial 3K1

Is this not the correct way to do this?

Correction to this thread:

So I have the proper SC for dialing long distance on our system (figured it out this morning).

The problem I have now is I want to add a user, that has forwarding set to a LD number, to a hunt group. The problem is when the system dials out the LD number, it defines it as "outgoing alerting", and then the hunt group does not go to any other members of the group. If I set a user to forward to a local number, it goes out as "alerting."

Ideas?
