    Analog Trunk Mobile Twinning Problem

    Hello,

One of our customer trasferred the external numbers from a voip operator to Analog Operator.

I have set up the analog expension module and allow "trunk to trunk connection", But now some of trunks stay open after mobile twinning. calls closed.. I have to click "Disconnect" button on "Active Cals in System Status" to close a ended mobile twinning call.

What I need to fix this problem ?
    Regards

You can only forward with analog trunks, you CAN NOT use mobile twinning with analog trunks.

Matt is correct, you can not use analog trunks for twinning. Only SIP or PRI are supported for Twinning.

Assuming that both parties have hung up, the reason the IP Office may not be seeing the call has disconnected may be because your provider does not have reliable disconnect enabled for the analog trunk. You may have to call your provider and have them enable this feature on your analog trunk.

You may also want to look at the settings for this on the IP Office:

      Disconnect Clear
Disconnect clear (also known as 'Line Break' or 'Reliable Disconnect') is a method used to signal from the line provider that the call has cleared. The system also uses 'Tone Disconnect', which clears an analog call after 6 seconds of continuous tone, configured through the Busy Tone Detection (System | Telephony | Tones & Music) settings.
      Enable: Default = On
Enables the use of disconnect clear.
      Units: Default = 500ms. Range = 0 to 2550ms.
This time must be less than the actual disconnect time period used by the line provider by at least 150ms.
Release 8.0+: If the Unsupervised Analog Trunk Disconnect Handling setting (System | Telephony | Telephony) is enabled, this setting is greyed out and disconnect clear disabled..
