Update to IPO 46xxsettings.txt

OK i try to setup a Plantronics Savi 700 on Avaya 9650 Phone
everything working good but i dont earing the sound of ring in the headset

I see a document on Avaya support (PlantSavi-96x1) but its for aura systeme i have IPO is not the same 46xxsettings,txt

But i change another setting on 46xxsettings.txt to make test

Question: how to update the 46xxsettings on my IPO

Hello,

This file is a txt one and you can edit it easily. Thi s file is common for both systems (Aura and IPO) but there are features that are not applicable for IPO.

You just comment out teh line by removing the ##.

Normally the file is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\ and uploaded in the SD card.(if used)

From the description, you are trying to activate the HEADSETBIDIR parameter. That parameter only works on H.323 6.2 or later software. That software is not supported on the 9650. You would need to use a 9608/9611G/9621G/9641G which do support that software.

On the 9650, as per the diagram, you need to have the small microphone on the phone speaker.
