I have a question about bringing a backup Voicemail Pro client online to test it out.
I took over a IP Office system and I'm not completely familar with everything.
Its a IP500V2 with 8.0(16), and a 2008R2 machine with Voicemail Pro 8.0
I have a new 2008R2 virtual machine setup. I created a full export for the current Voicemail Pro client and successfully imported that to the new vmpro.
Will I run into any issues if I change the IPO manager settings and put in the IP address of the new vmpro? Will there be any licensing issues? I only want to verify that the new vmpro works correctly and then I'm going to switch back.
The new vmpro is in another physical location (State), and there's an ipsec tunnel and all the routing is in place - I am moving the IPO appliance to the other location, so I'm just testing it out to make sure I won't have any issues.
Any suggestions, links, etc would be greatly appreciated.
