    page phones

I can't seem to find out how to page all phones or possibly go over the loud speaker system using Avaya phones. the model of phones we have are:

    2402
    5410
    5420

I looked in the user manual and see Group Paging but doesn't give anymore help.

So in case of an emergency I would for example hit #05# and start talking on my desk phone which would allow all phones to overhear me or over our loudspeaker system. I just need to find out the code for the phones, is it an option within Avaya IP Office Manager?

we are currently on: IP Office Manager v10.1 (43)

To page through the phones on an IP Office, first create a Hunt Group with the phones as members. Then create a shortcode with the action of Dial Paging, and the extension number of the Hunt Group for the Telephone Number.

#05# is not a default shortcode, so I don't know how it is programmed for your particular system.

For instance, I create HG 299, with members 201, 202, 203, etc. and set it to collective.

Then I create Shortcode *88, feature is Dial Paging, and the telephone number is 299

Thank you so much. We have barely help on IP Office features set that client keep requesting. The IPO documentation is not like ACM, hence partners get least interested to sell/implement IPO.

This information is useful for all of us.
