We have an IP Office 500 v2 system with 6 modules. We've had to replace modules 5 different times due to them "blowing up" internally. Our reseller won't warranty them any more because they are saying we're blowing them up with bad wiring.
The last two modules that I was involved with both blew up at the same module-port. We traced that cable to a phone that turned out to not be a phone any more; just 2 bare copper wires dangling alongside a metal cabinet. Here's a picture of those last two boards (here's a link to a larger pic):

I need to protect these modules from "mishaps" like this. And since I have no idea where the next mishap will come from (really, who would have thought somebody would have ripped a phone off a wall and left the wires hanging bare???), I need to protect *all* the ports on all modules.
My reseller doesn't know how to protect me, the local electricians don't know, even the local phone company doesn't know!
So I'm posting here, desperately hoping somebody here knows and can point me to something that works.
I appreciate in advance any help!
