short code assistance for caller ID

Hi there,

Im a novice at phone systems, we have Ip Office R8 here and use a brigate GSM for routing calls to mobiles.

I currently have a shortcode routing all mobile calls out through the GSM but they send no caller ID

like this

04XXXXXXXX
Dial
.
linegroup:mobile ARS

The ARS is setup with the short code

4XXXXXXXX
Dial
.
linegroup:4 (mobile line group)


I have tried a number of combinations I have seen here to make these calls send either the system caller id or the extensions caller id without success.

If someone could assitst I would really appreciate it.

The provider would have to allow you to send and/or manipulate Caller ID. Even on a PRI this would be the case. I dont know it=f the Cell companies can do this, my guess is not....
