hunt group messages to be professionally recorded to match AA

Hi all, I have an ipo 500v2 with voicemail pro, and the customer wants the hunt group messages to be professionally recorded to match the auto attendants, so that it's all in the same voice. They have recorded them already, but I'm looking for the proper place to put them. I have looked in the VM folder and found .wav, accounts, greetings, and names but nothing on hunt groups. Is there a way to change them out or am I stuck with dialing *17 and holding the handset to the speaker?

I believe it can be done, first you need to see what is the name of the HG message; you can do so by using the Sys Mon with appropiate filters or teh VM debug trace, afterwards rename the professional recording and replace the file.

What type of VM are you using?

with EVM due to the restrictions of the recording the quality might not be great.

As implied above, its possible to do, the only challenge is to identify the file.

Slightly confused by 'hunt group messages', hunt groups can have a name prompt, greetings and queued announcements. Do they mean the whole set or just some.

Whichever way, record one from the phone in your own voice and then in Debug view which file is play when you call the hunt group to provoke the right scenario for the files usage.

You can then manually replace that file.

Be sure that the 'professionally recorded' files are in the right format. 16-bit 8KHz mono wav files only.
