User programable speed dials

Hi ,
We are installing an IPO 500v2 8.1 (43), We are replacing a Nortel/Avaya CS-1000e

we have a number of users that use M3904 phones with button modules that
are set to AUTODIAL. ( user programmable Speed Dials) These guys change them frequently. We are giving them 9640's with button modules.
How do we set hem for AUTODIAL, or make them so the user can change them themselves.
I can't believe this is so difficult to do ?

Yes, users can do it themselves.

Features | Phone User | Self-Administer.

Press the button to program and if necessary select Replace

Select the required function from the list and press Select.

Enter the data (number) for the function.

Its all in the user guide. The function they want is Abbreviated Dial.

Hopefully they aren't very important energy traders who change the speed dials daily.
