IP Office Server Edition Features Clarification

I have some questions about the SE (R9) and how to interpret some features described in the docs, I mean:
    1) SIP TRUNK RESILIENCY - SIP trunks have to be loaded (licenses) on Main Server, but in case of failure does the trunk/licenses migrate on secondary ? (The docs generically talk about trunks resiliency but I would be sure SIP Trunks are included)
    2) T.38 - Docs talk about a NON SUPPORTED feature, but this statement has to be intended for the whole solution or for Servers only ? (Creating a trunk on a IPO GTWy the T.38 seems possible)
    3) IP PHONE "VCM BASED" licenses - If a IPO Essential with full licensed VCMv1 cards migrates to SE what about of 3x32 IP Phone virtual licenses, do they migrate to the Main Server or will be missing?
    4) VMPRO Resiliency - Docs say "VM Resiliency" but does it mean VM Boxes only or full features ? (VMboxes, call flows, IVR, queues, conditions, modules, prompts, etc)

    Thank you

If you have 100 licenses on the Primary, and you register 50 to the primary and 50 to the secondary, then yes, you will have 50 trunks in service if the Primary dies. You get this because during Sunny day, Secondary was told it was licensed.

If you have 100 trunks on teh Primary and intend to divert the trunk to a new IP address where the Secondary is, then the trunks will need to re-register to the Secondary, at which point it can not, as the Primary is not there to authenticate the licenses...

    2) T.38 - Docs talk about a NON SUPPORTED feature, but this statement has to be intended for the whole solution or for Servers only ? (Creating a trunk on a IPO GTWy the T.38 seems possible)
No support for t38 on server edition. As far as i remember IP500 does support T38...

    3) IP PHONE "VCM BASED" licenses - If a IPO Essential with full licensed VCMv1 cards migrates to SE what about of 3x32 IP Phone virtual licenses, do they migrate to the Main Server or will be missing?
Those licenses will go dormant, as they are not needed. On R9, Avaya doesn't license the VCM's anymore. And with the Server Edition license, you get 1000 connections between nodes.

    4) VMPRO Resiliency - Docs say "VM Resiliency" but does it mean VM Boxes only or full features ? (VMboxes, call flows, IVR, queues, conditions, modules, prompts, etc)
Basically, in server edition you set up both voicemail systems to point to each other, and they use SMTP to transfer the messages, mailboxes, greetings, etc... It does not sync the call flows, so you need to do that manually...

      Licenses

Hello. Regarding licenses and resilence, if I have a SE Primary with centralized 100 IP station licenses inone site and a SE Secondary inother location. 50 stations in primary site and 50 in secondary site in normal conditions.
If Primary fail, their 50 stations signs in the secondary? All 100 stations works ok? What about licenses? those are in the WebLM in the primar server which is down. Thanks for your comments.

If you have a new question start a new thread. Don't attach your question to a thread that is over 3 years old. It creates confusion as the original thread may be out of date or no longer totally accurate.
