    redirect a failed authorization code

    Hi All.

I have a customer that wishes their people to dial an authorization code to get local / long distance calling, but they also want it so, should someone enter an incorrect authorization code it fails to an extension.

I have no issue with getting the authorization code working, however, the failing over is driving me nuts.

Any ideas? Is it even possible?

    Regards

    Forcing Authorization Codes

    Hi
There are two methods to force a user to enter an authorization code in order to complete dialing an external call.
    · To Force Authorization Codes on All External Calls
A user can be required to enter an authorization code for all external calls. This is done by selecting Force
Authorization Code (User | Telephony | Supervisor Settings ).
    · To Force Authorization Codes on Specific Calls
To require entry of an authorization code on a particular call or call type, the Force Authorization Code option should be selected in the short code settings. This can be used in user, user rights or system short codes in order to apply its effect to a user, group of users or all users respectively. You need to ensure that the user cannot dial the same number by any other method that would by pass the short code, for example with a different prefix.

This is how Authorization code works.
Can you please clarify what you exactly want in case of a incorrect authorization code.

      Hi.

What I want to happen is as follows:

Authorized user A wants to make, for example, a long distance call.

      He dials 9+<authorization code>+1+<number>.

An unauthorized user thinks he will use the phone to make a long distance call. When he enters 9+<incorrect authorization code>, it automatically redirects him to an attendant person who can pick up the phone, and if required, complete the call for him.

      Regards
