One-X Portal Pop not displaying Name

    Hello Support.

Need some advice and help. I have a deployed One-X to around 30 of my users and we are finding that i have inconsistent issues with many users complaining that the "Name" of the contact does not pop up when dialling from Outlook using the plugin.

I think its something to do with a space in the number.

    So if the number is

    Outlook Name : Peter Pan
    Number : 07852255235
    This will work.

But if its below, the NAME will not POP up, just shows the number
    Outlook Name : Peter Pan
    Number : 0785 225 5235 ( with spaces)

Can someone please confirm if their is a SPACE in the number it will NOT work.

Or am i doing something wrong?

If the above is true, is there any fix. All my users have spaces in their contact for phone numbers?

Our System is as follows :

    IPO 500 v2 Version 9.0.2.0 Build 860

PC's are Windows 7 with all MS Updates
Avaya one-X Portal Call Assistant V9.0.3.0 Build 42.
    Avaya one-X Portal IP Plug-In Vertsion 9.0.30.0 Build 42

    Thanks

    Roger

    Hi Roger,

To your question whether spaces are allowed in the contact number, the answer is Yes.
You can refer the below link which clarifies it and you can also see the different formats been supported.

We have to check what is showing up in the incoming CLI. We have multiple choices to save numbers, but only a single format will show up as a CLI. If that CLI matches the saved number format the name will show up.
It's important to know what is coming through the trunk or from a calling number CLI.
So please check the incoming CLI format configured and need to save numbers in the address book by that format.

Also The basic S/W Requirements are Win 7, Win 8, Win XP Professional
MS Outlook Versions: MS Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013.
Hope it might be helpful for you.

    Regards,
    Dhanya
