IPO SCN and DECT R4

Hi,

I tried to find information about possible use of more than 384 DECT handset in IPO. I did not find That's why I'm asking here is there a possibility to do this i.e. in SCN environment. In this case I should use 2 IPO (500v2 or SE) in SCN. In theory each of device can support 384 DECT handset. Is my understanding is correct? Has anyone have tried this? Do you have any idea how to use more than 384 DECT handsets in IPO?

wow this is a hughe amount of DECT phones.

I think the issue will be that you have only one trunk to R4 DECT system. This trunk is assigned to a IP Office unit. Via this trunks the user will register to the system.

On the other side (DECT R4) you cannot have two trunks as far as I know back to the IP Office. So 2 IP Office 500 will not solve the issue.

You should go for Server Edition as you can run 2000 users.

You night check as well what are max. user support on the DECT R4.
